Land Force Commander assignment, Xhaçka: Commitment and professionalism are rewarded

Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka stated today that the appreciation of dedicated professionals and people is the working motto in Armed Forces. The Minister attended the handing over ceremony of Commanders of the Land Force. Brigadier General Albert Mullai took over the task of Commander of Land Force replacing Major General Nazmi Cahani, who held this post for more than three years.
"Tireless work, dedication, professionalism will always be rewarded. This is the motto of our work, it is the motto of my work, the objective of my work is the objective we set ourselves and it is a non-negotiable standard that we will apply in all AF structures. But further activity and development of Land Force is unlimited and we have many other challenges ahead. I want to express and I want to assure General Mullai that you will have all the support you need by the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff to realize our common goal, fulfillment of the mission assigned to the Land Force and Armed Forces in general", - said Minister Xhaçka in her speech.
Major General Nazmi Cahani handed over his duty by thanking all his associates for over three years leading the Land Force, while the new commander of this force Brigadier General Albert Mullai thanked Minister Xhaçka for the confidence and assured that the focus of his work would be training and attention for working conditions, for all Land Force forces and their families.
Major General Nazmi Cahani will continue to serve in our Armed Forces, as a military representative at NATO Headquarters in Brussels.
A few months ago, under NATO monitoring, the Light Infantry Battalion Group , part of the Land Force, was certified, while in the hundreds of national and international exercises, the members of Land Force have not been merely numbers in formations but brought back to our country their trophies and best ratings from NATO member countries.
