Albania - Turkey, Defense Cooperation Plan is signed

Turkey is one of the most important contributors to military logistics and the civil emergency in Albania.

It is also shown that Turkey is not only one of the country's best security and defense partners, but also an ally country in difficult times. Turkish state gave a significant help during the difficult period following the earthquake that struck the country on 26 November last year.

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Turkey have signed the 2020 Defense Cooperation Plan in order to strengthen and intensify the interaction in the field of Security and Defense

The plan was signed by the Director General of Defense Policy Florian Kali and Military Attaché of the Republic of Turkey in Tirana Colonel Şakir Cumhur Somer.

The cooperation plan outlines activities that both ministries are committed to accomplish in 2020 in order to strengthen and intensify Security and Defense interaction.
