Minister Xhaçka promotes Brigadier General Arben Kingji

 

In the premises of the Support Battalion of the Armed Forces General Staff was held the promotion ceremony of brigadier General Arben Kingji, to who was conferred the high rank by the Decree of the President of the Republic, upon the proposal of the Defence Minister.
At the ceremony were present the Defence Minister Olta Xhaçka, Chief of General Staff of AAF Major General Assoc. Prof. Bajram Begaj, Commanders of Forces, directors of GS and MoD, as well as senior military and other guests.

Olta Xhaçka, after thanking all the participants at the ceremony, considered this day very special not only for the fact that today we will place the ranks of Brigadier General to Colonel Kingji, but because this day also coincides with the 55th Anniversary of the Creation of the Support Battalion of the General Staff.


Minister Xhaçka praised the dedication and professionalism of Brigadier General Arben Kingji, describing him as one of the most prominent servicemen of the Armed Forces.
“Brigadier General Arben Kingji has had an excellent performance wherever he has served, as Commander of the Commando Battalion, Special Forces, Military Police, and Military Attaché plus, most recently, Commander of the General Staff Support Battalion in the AAF.” , - said the Defence Minister.


Meritocracy – stressed Minister Xhaçka – based on professionalism, passion and dedication will be the cornerstone of a professional and well-organized Armed Force.


In his greeting speech, Brigadier General Arben Kingji, considered this day very special as well as an honor and privilege for him and his family. He also thanked Minister Xhaçka for her appreciation and trust as well as his colleagues, by being committed to keep his high rank with honor and dedication.
