FA nurses engage in vaccination of the population against COVID - 19

 

Doctors and nurses of the Armed Forces have joined their colleagues in vaccination of the population against COVID - 19.

Currently, the doctors and nurses of the Armed Forces are engaged in vaccinating people over 70 years old, in the center set up for this purpose in "Skënderbej" square.
Defence Minister Niko Peleshi, closely watched the vaccination process and the work of the nurses who are in uniform.
Minister Peleshi expressed his satisfaction that the vaccination started and expressed his readiness to aid the Ministry of Health not only in Tirana, but wherever it is needed.

"We have gladly joined forces with the Ministry of Health, and our entire public health system, with our Armed Forces nurses. Over 40 doctors and nurses of the Ministry of Defense currently work here. We are happy that we finally managed to live on this day, to start intensive mass vaccination of the entire population. It is a process that will not stop. We have joined forces with different institutions. Today we are in the center of the Capital, but we are ready that with other capacities, still reserve that we have, to go in the squares and in the centers that will be opened in each city, in case they are evaluated by the Ministry of Health." , - stated the Minister of Defense.


The commitment of the doctors and nurses of the Armed Forces comes as an attempt to achieve the ambitious goal of the Albanian government to have vaccinated the entire population by the spring of next year.
