Fires in the country, Deputy Defence Minister from Ksamil: Those who destroy nature will face penalties

 

The Armed Forces and all structures of the Ministry of Defense are engaged alongside the local government in extinguishing fires in various areas of the country. After almost eight hours, the hearth of fire in Ksamil hills was isolated. The operation was attended by Deputy Defence Minister Dallëndyshe Bici, who inspected the terrain and congratulated Gjirokastra RSD effective and the fire brigade.

"A thank you goes, not only to the operational forces, Ksamil's effectives, but to all the effectives of Albania, who are extinguishing other fires. Once again you showed that with your work and dedication we can manage to have no consequences.", - said the Deputy Defence Minister.

She warned all individuals that damaged the environment, intentionally or not.

"I would like to call on all residents of Ksamil, those on vacation,  all citizens, to be careful with their actions and assure that anyone who, with his actions risks destroying the beautiful nature that God has given us, will face penalties. The Ministry of Defence, the Armed Forces of Albania and all other responsible structures will be on duty for any emergency situation that may arise, given that we are in the summer season and high temperatures are at our disadvantage.", -emphasized the Deputy Defence Minister.

The Civil Defence Agency informs that the work for the normalization of the situation is continuing in Karaburun. The working group for extinguishing the flames has been joined by 85 other forces, of which 40 are effectives of AF.

The work is also continuing in the region of Fier, in Shikaj, Kukës, in Shetaj, Durrës and there are some active hearths in Mazhicë, Bulqiza, but also Delvina and Përmet.
