The Security and Defense and Innovation Center (SDIC) has the mission to promote innovation and all processes related to it through supporting, monitoring, and evaluating programs, technologies, and projects in the field of Security and Defence.

The goal is to advance the capacities of Security and Defense through innovative projects and the integration of contemporary technologies; fostering the ecosystem, attracting talents, and supporting startups, as well as cultivating a sustainable and productive environment that encourages synergy between innovative ideas and effective implementation in the field of Security and Defense.

The SDIC aims to improving internal processes and operations, optimizing resource distribution, and measuring the progress of process.

The Centre will be in continuous commitment to research and development, offering expertise, knowledge sharing, and representing it in the international stage.

Projects proposed by the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff, on which the Center is working, focus on improving and modernizing the Albanian Armed Forces and various MoD’s Directorates.

The Center is also working on projects related to Civil Emergencies, and in touch with other ministries, it provides expertise and available tools to solve problems that directly affect the security and protection of the lives of citizens of the Republic of Albania.
