"Defender Europe 2023" exercise starts in Albania

Albania will host for the second time, the biggest military exercise in Europe, "Defender Europe 23".

The exercise will start on May 22 and will involve approximately 17,000 multinational troops, making it the biggest exercise in Albania's history as a NATO ally.
Defence Minister Niko Peleshi has shared some images from NATO and US forces, emphasizing that Albania will play a key role in this important exercise as a reliable partner and as a strategic node of regional security.
