Albania signs agreement with Board of Peace to Join International Stabilization Force in Gaza

A signing ceremony for the official agreement on Albania’s participation in the International Stabilization Force (ISF) in Gaza was held at the General Staff Headquarters of the Albanian Armed Forces.

The ceremony was attended by Albania’s Defence Minister Ermal Nufi and the U.S. Ambassador to Albania, Eric Wendt.

In a statement shared on social media regarding the agreement, Minister Nufi said:

“As a founding member of the Board of Peace, Albania reaffirms its commitment to contributing to international efforts to establish peace, ensure security and create the conditions for lasting stability in Gaza.”

The agreement was signed by the Chief of the General Staff of the Albanian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Arben Kingji and the Commander of the ISF, Major General Jasper Jeffers.
