Minister Nufi attends Türkiye’s Republic Day Reception, underscores strategic partnership and defence cooperation

Defence Minister Ermal Nufi attended a reception hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Tirana on the occasion of Türkiye’s Republic Day.

Minister Nufi highlighted the close relations between the two countries, underpinned by strong historical ties, longstanding friendship and a strategic partnership.

“As two NATO Allies, Albania and Türkiye share a longstanding friendship, close historical ties and a strategic partnership that continues to grow stronger every day, particularly in the fields of defence and security.” Minister Nufi wrote in a social media post.

Albania and Türkiye continue to deepen cooperation across various fields, with a view to further strengthening bilateral relations and contributing jointly to collective security.
