The situation created by the rainfall throughout the territory

The situation in the district of Kukës, after yesterday's rains, appears better today. According to information from the Civil Protection Agency, in the Municipality of Tropoja where there was damage, the situation has returned to normal, while work continues in the terrain to eliminate the consequences. In support of the forces in the terrain, vehicles and military forces are working.

Currently in the territory of Tropoja Municipality:


1.  The national roads are normally trafficable. (Curri-Valbonë, Ura e Bujanit-Qafe Morine, Sopot-Kerrnaj, Qafe Mejdan-Tropojë-Buçaj, B. Curri-Cërnica and B. Curri-Fierzë)
2.  The Lekbibaj-Fierzë road is blocked by rock slides, work is being done with the municipality's means to unblock the road segment Lekbibaj-Fierzë Ferry Terminal.
3. OSHEE working groups are working to repair the fault in the electrical substation in Gropë Fierzë and restore power to the Fierzë administrative unit and the village of Valbonë.
4. In the village of Degë, administrative unit of Fierzë, a digger has been sent to support the community.
In other regions of the country, the situation is calm and no problems have been noticed.
