Naval Force/Coast Guard

The Coast Guard, as an integral component of the Naval Force, operates under the authority of the Ministry of Defense in accordance with Article 3 of Law No. 8875, dated 04.04.2002, “On the Albanian Coast Guard.” In line with Article 4 of the same law, its organizational structure is approved by the Minister of Defense.

The Coast Guard is equipped with naval vessels as defined in the organizational structure of the Naval Force/Coast Guard.
