The Senior Course on Security and Defense was completed by 13 Albanian and outlander attendees, Xhaçka: We are increasing financial and academic capacities

From the Senior Course on Security and Defense which took place for 10 weeks at the Academy of the Armed Forces were graduated13 course attendees.
Part of it were senior military and civilians from a number of partner countries such as England, Turkey, Croatia, Italy, Greece, Northern Macedonia and Georgia.
At their graduation ceremony were also present the Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka, who, after congratulating all students, said that this course on its 11th year has a significance that goes beyond simply preparing a number of students in the field of Defense.
“This course has a great importance to us because it has a positive impact in our efforts to establish a truly modern and quality military education system as it pertains to a modern army of a NATO member country. We are working a lot to create structures and logistics, we've done a lot to increase funding, and we still have a lot to do for what is probably the most difficult but also the most essential element, without question, building the academic and human capacity needed for such a difficult enterprise” - said Minister Xhaçka.
The Senior Course on Security and Defense aims to educate civilian and military leaders from Albania, region countries, NATO and partner countries to understand complex situations in a strategic security environment and improve their thinking skills in a strategic way.
In the graduation ceremony were present the Chief of General Staff of the Albanian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Bardhyl Kollçaku, Commander of the Doctrine and Training Command, Brigadier General Bajram Begaj, French Ambassador to Tirana Christina Vasac, force commanders, etc.
