Albanian Armed Forces announce the NCO of the year 2019

At the threshold of the New Year, the Albanian Armed Forces have selected the most distinguished NCOs of the last twelve months.

The three best NCOs of 2019 are from different forces and represent the most outstanding servicemen in the AAF.

Even at this end of year, the General Staff of Armed Forces continued the tradition by organizing a ceremony to announce the NCO of the year, attended by Chief of Staff Brigadier General Bardhyl Kollçaku, Force Commanders and NCOs from all AAF and Commands.

Chief of the General Staff of the AF Brigadier General Bardhyl Kollçaku praised the achievements of the AAF during 2019 and especially the role of NCOs during civil emergencies. "2019 has been a year of many engagements in operations, in NATO missions, in drills, in certifications, in civil emergencies that were some, in fires, in floods, but also in the recent earthquake emergencies of September and November 2019. Nothing would have been the same without your commitment, your contribution and your professionalism, you excelled since the first moment when the alarm signal was given to all search and rescue engagements, you transported the affected, provided the first aid, set up camps, transported the population, transported materials, met the foreign coordinators who came to the rescue teams. Your hand, sweat and commitment have been everywhere, so I say that we are now in a good position thanks to your work and contribution. “- said the Chief of Staff, while emphasizing the importance of the selection process in any force or command of the AAF.

The best NCO of 2019 was awarded Sergeant Egnat Kulli from the Land Force. Ardian Seitaj of the Support Command was ranked the second, while Julian Shaban of the Doctrine and Training Command was in the third place.

The announcement of the best NCOs of the year came after a transparent process, competition and evaluation.
