Xhaçka wished the 8th of March to the AAF’s strong women,: Albania is plenty of inspiring examples

More and more young ladies and women are breaking the Albanian tough mentality, choosing to serve in uniform. They are everywhere, part of the Albanian Armed Forces, on peacekeeping missions abroad, in the frontline of civilian emergencies, but also in the world's most respected military academies.

Defence Minister Olta Xhacka has chosen to wish them the 8th of March through a video in which members from the Armed Forces Staff have delivered their messages as examples of inspiration for all Albanian women. In this congratulation video, while giving eight reasons to be proud, the Defence Minister praises the role of women, who represent Albania worthily as NATO Allies.

“Albania is plenty of inspiring examples and won’t lack them in the future. Their value lies on the love for the homeland and patriotism. So today, I have a wish for every strong woman, to every inspiring woman. I wish we will be surrounded by them, I wish we will be one of them, I wish we will raise young ladies like them”, is written on the Facebook status of Minister Xhaçka.
Meanwhile, Albania is working promptly to fulfil the Alliance's demand for gender equality.
