For several days the Armed Forces have been engaged within the framework of measures taken by the Albanian Government to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Every day the Military Police and II Infantry Battalion, part of the Armed Forces, are on the ground communicating with citizens to compel them to stay at home.

Implementing the plan, the Armed Forces in cooperation with the State Police have undertaken controls on road axes to stop the circulation of unauthorized vehicles. Travelers have been verified in order to detect persons who have traveled from affected countries and have not complied with self-quarantine measures.

Another important task is to advise the population on the measures to be taken to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.
