COVID-19, Minister Xhaçka and Albanian Armed Forces to support every family in need

Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka accompanied by the Director of the National Civil Protection Agency Haki Çako and effective from AAF went to Thumana, Shijak and Ishëm to distribute food packages to families in need.
Minister Xhaçka advised the residents, to abide by the rules set out to protect themselves against COVID-19.

"Take care of yourself. Stay at home and contact us if you need anything. Together, we will do our best to get through this situation," Xhaçka told one of Thumana's residents, who thanked the Minister for the help.
Distribution of food parcels will continue even in the coming days till the situation created by Covid - 19 will be overcome.
The Armed Forces are committed, in cooperation with the local government, to distribute food aid through the National Civil Protection Agency and the State Reserves, to the elderly and poor families in all municipalities of the country.
