Birthday at virus time, Minister Xhaçka's special congratulation to the military on duty

Major Bledar Bimaj, the Commander of the Military Police Operation in carrying out government measures against COVID-19 has had a different birthday this year.

Major Bimaj's colleagues surprised their Commander. He blew out  the candles of his birthday cake placed on one of the AAF armored vehicles .

The Commander of the Operation Unit in the capital was also congratulated by Defense Minister Olta Xhaçka, who posted on her Facebook account the video of his colleagues' surprise.

"We are living through difficult days, but it is on such days that human sacrifice, contribution, and human solidarity are even more appreciated. Members of the Military Police along with the 5,000 - AAF personnel whom for 3 weeks are being in the terrain, had surprised their colleague Major Bledar Bimaj on his 38th birthday. Such moments are a source of strength and energy for all. Happy birthday Major! Thanks to all members of the Armed Forces for your commitment!"- posted on her Facebook account Minister Xhaçka.

The Albania Armed Forces not only are being patrolling urban centers for three weeks, but also are distributing aid to citizens across the country.
