The 42nd Meeting of the Coordinating Committee of the Southeast Europe Defense Ministerial is taking place

On May 15, within the framework of the SEDM process, which is currently chaired by Albania, at the Ministry of Defense, through a video - conference, the 42nd Meeting of the Coordinating Committee of the Southeast European Ministerial of Defense (SEDM - Ç) and the 43rd Meeting of the Political-Military Steering Committee/Multinational Peacekeeping Force of Southeast Europe (PMSC/MPFSEE).

These two meetings were held for the first time through a video - conference with the support of the SEDM portal as a result of the situation created by the global pandemic COVID - 19.

Representatives from 14 member states of SEDM, the SEEBRIG Commander, as well as observers from NATO, UNDP SEESAC and RACVIAC, attended the two meetings, which were chaired by the Defense Deputy Minister Petro Koçi and the chairman of SEDM-Ç/PMSC.

In these two meetings, various projects and initiatives were discussed in the framework of cooperation in the fields of regional defense and security.

In the climate of cooperation and understanding, the countries expressed the common will and determination to develop and strengthen the regional cooperation for the benefit of regional peace and stability.
