Special Forces jointly with Air Force and Navy exercise in Pashaliman

The Pashaliman Naval Base was transformed for about two weeks into the largest training theater of the Armed Forces for this year.

Staff from four Companies of the Special Forces Battalion, backed by Navy ships and Air Force helicopters, tested and further enhanced their capabilities and capabilities to deal with a variety of situations that could threaten security and peace.



During the two-week exercise, Special Forces troops improvised various scenarios, on land and at sea.

They intervened from the ground by hitting and controlling vehicles and subjects suspected of explosives transportation, tested the boarding skills by infiltrating from the air and sea on a suspected ship, struck criminal and terrorist elements through landing at sea and increased the capacity of Special Battalion divers.

On the Distinguished Visitor's Day, they were visited by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Bardhyl Kollçaku, who was accompanied by the commanders of the main forces.

Brigadier General Kollçaku praised the cooperation between the three forces as very important, congratulating them not only for the skills shown during the training, but also for their commitment during the pandemic period.



Furthermore, the Chief of Staff assured the participating troops and all Albanian military personnel on the improvement of working and training conditions, the modernization of the Armed Forces with weapons, tools and equipment, without forgetting their financial treatment.

The Special Forces Training in Pashaliman, in cooperation with the Navy and Air Force, is the first of its kind this year in the Armed Forces, which have been committed in managing the consequences of the pandemics.
