116 youngsters took the enlistment oath at the Bunavi Troop School, as newly soldiers of the Albanian Armed Forces.
The oath of enlistment taken by the new soldiers came after the successful completion of the Basic Individual Training, which this time took place in unusual conditions, due to the pandemic.
The new recruits were tested for COVID-19 in Tirana before the commencement of the training and during their stay at Bunavi Troop School, underwent periodic medical examinations.
Parts of the training program, which usually was done in classroom or gym, took place in open spaces, while the recruits were accommodated respecting the measures against the spread of the pandemic.
The newly sworn soldiers went through three training periods, the green, the blue, and the red one.
They were also greeted by the Chief of Staff of the Corps School, Lieutenant Colonel Bujar Fejzo, who also thanked the training staff. "This day is special because they swore allegiance as soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania, to our national flag, to remain loyal to the homeland, duty, and law. We are proud of your work, of this great military force you have trained, of your continuous efforts towards consolidating the training system for the Armed Forces soldiers, of your ambition to implement advanced standards in the training process, of everything that you have done to educate these young people, already worthy to serve in the ranks of the Armed Forces".
After the oath of enlistment and commissioning as soldiers or sailors of the Armed Forces, the new military members will be assigned to various forces or commands.
