Fires in the regions of Lezha, Fier, Elbasan and Vlora have been extinguished

All the fires that broke out these days have already been extinguished. The situation was problematic in the regions of Lezha, Fier, Elbasan, Vlora.

The National Center for Civil Emergencies reports that the fire which broke out in the place called "Godull", Seman forest massif, Fier Municipality, has been extinguished. Firefighters are still on site, inspecting the ground to remove any debris from the fire that could reignite it.

The checks are being carried out mainly in those places where residues of pine fallen over the years are still in place, and may contain elements which under the influence of atmospheric conditions could ignite.

On the other hand, checks are underway on the degree of fire damage. It is initially thought to have included about 140 ha of shrubs and parts under the canopy of pines, without touching and damaging the canopy.
