The agreement for the medical treatment of the Albanian military troops in Turkey is signed

The "Protocol between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Government of the Republic of Turkey for cooperation in the field of Military Medicine" was signed at the Ministry of Defense.
The protocol was signed by General Director of Defense Policy Florian Kali and Turkish Military Attaché in Tirana Colonel Muhammet Kelami Kablay,
The process was finalized after an intensive period of negotiation. This agreement comes to the aid of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania as the Turkish side undertakes free treatment in military medical institutions of active members of the Armed Forces and their families, reserve personnel, retirees of the Armed Forces, and civilian personnel working in the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces.



The protocol also regulates the treatment of Albanian military students studying medicine in Turkey with free scholarships and provides courses and specializations for their professional growth.

The parties shall engage to implement this protocol as soon as possible.
