Defence Minister Peleshi praises the US Military Attaché

The Defence Minister Niko Peleshi, hosted in a courtesy meeting the US Military Attaché accredited in Tirana, Captain James Hilton, who terminates his mandate and leaves our country.
At a ceremony in honor of Captain Hilton, the Defence Minister Peleshi awarded the senior US military with the "Medal of Gratitude" under the motivation: "On the special contribution given through his work as a Military Attaché of the United States of America, in the support and development of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania”.

Appreciating the work and contribution of the US military attaché in Tirana, Minister Peleshi said: “Captain Hilton will be remembered not only as a devoted military man who performed his duty with high professionalism but also as a valuable friend of the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces and our country.”

Also, the Defense Minister welcomed to our country Commander David Millner, who has taken over the duty of the US Military Attaché accredited in Albania. Minister Peleshi assured the new US Military Attaché that the cooperation in the field of Security and Defense, with him and the country he represents, is one of the main priorities of the Ministry of Defense.

Afterward, the two senior US servicemen were hosted by the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Assoc. Prof. Bajram Begaj, who thanked Commander Hilton, to whom he handed over the certificate of gratitude for his contribution to the strengthening of the cooperation between Albanian and American Armed Forces.
