Fire situation in the country, dated 05 August 2021

There are currently 6 active wildfires across the country; 2 have been completely extinguished, while 1 has been isolated.
The wildfire on the Karaburun Peninsula continues to be active. The operation to extinguishing the active fires continues.
The fire in the village of Cukal, Administrative Unit Shllak, municipality of Vau Dejës has been for the most part isolated. The operation for its complete extinguishment began today.
The fire in Fushë-Arrëz is still active.
In the village of Lukan, in Debar, the flames are currently isolated.
In the villages of the Antigone Administrative Unit, fires have continued to be active in the villages of Arshi Lengo, Asim Zeneli, Krina. The operation is continuing to totally extinguish them.
In the Lunxhëri Administrative Unit, fires continue to be active in Qesorat, Dhoksat, Tranoshisht and Saraqinisht villages. The operation continued with all operational forces.
The fire continues to be active in the village of Gadurovë - Selishtë, Mallakastër Municipality.
The fire in a pines and bushes area in Qafë Murrë, Dibër Municipality and in Shengjin Mountain, Lezhë Municipality was extinguished.

Vlora Region

The operational forces continue to work on extinguishing the fire in the Karaburun Peninsula, where 319 troops of the Armed Forces, 31 vehicles, 4 ambulances, 21 employees of the fire brigade and the local government unit, as well as 3 helicopters are engaged. In the village of Delisuf in the Municipality of Vlora, the fire that broke out on the surface with bushes and pines continues to be active. Work is underway to isolate the flames.

Shkodër Region
The fire in the village of Cukal, Shllak Administrative Unit, Vau Dejës Municipality has been isolated for the most part, but only a few small fires remain, which are being controlled by the men on the ground. In the city of Fushë-Arrëz, the municipality of Fushë-Arrëz, the fire continues. A helicopter also went to the aid of the forces and vehicles of the Fushë-Arrëz and Puka units. The firefighting operation will continue the next day.
A fire was reported around 22:31, in the Tepe neighborhood of Shkodra municipality. 2 vehicles of fire brigade Shkodër went to the scene and are working to extinguish the fire.

Dibër Region
The fire continues to be active in the village of Lukan, Selishtë administrative unit, Dibër municipality. The fire has progressed to a less wooded rocky outcrop. Firefighters and volunteers from the area are engaged in extinguishing the fire.
In Qafë - Murrë, Administrative Unit Selishtë, Municipality of Dibër, the fire continues on the surface with pines and bushes.

Gjirokastra Region
In the villages of the Antigone Administrative Unit, fires have continued to be active in the villages of Arshi Lengo, Asim Zeneli, Krina. In the villages of the Lunxhëri administrative unit, fires continue to be active in the villages of Qesorat, Dhoksat, Tranoshisht and Saraqinisht. Work is underway to keep the situation under control. In these fires and in the Archaeological Park of Antigone, a helicopter was used throughout the day to extinguish the flames.

Fier Region
A fire broke out in an area with bushes, pines and olive groves in the village of Gadurovë, Selishte administrative unit, in Mallakastër. The fire brigade, the Municipality, the Municipal Police and the volunteer force are engaged in its extinction. The fire continues to be active due to the large wind-favored area and rugged mountainous terrain.

Elbasan Region
Another fire broke out around 22:30 in the village of Cerujë, Elbasan municipality, in a bushy area. The forces of the local fire service are on the ground to extinguish the flames.
