Active wildfires today, August 10, at 23:00

1) Vlora. The wildfire, on the Karaburun Peninsula and Dukat, Orikum Administrative Unit, still continues. The Forces continue to work intensively. The situation is still problematic in some areas. Llogara is not endangered and neither is the village of Dukat. Two aircrafts and the Forces will start working tomorrow.

2) Lezha. Mirditë Municipality, in Thirrë village, Fan administrative unit. Ground and Air Forces were concentrated in this area today. Overnight monitoring continues. The fire does not pose a risk to dwellings and the tunnel.

3) Lezha. The wildfires in the villages of Munella and Domgjon. Currently, the hearth has a large extent in rugged terrain and it is difficult to isolate it completely. It is being monitored overnight.

4) Lezha. In the Municipality of Lezha, in the village of Patalej, the administrative unit of Kolsh, today the Field Forces worked to isolate a part that threatened roads of the villages. It is being monitored overnight. The situation remains problematic. There is still no risk for the properties.

5) Kukës Region. The fire in Maja e Rrunës, Malzi administrative unit. The situation continues to remain problematic. The Armed Forces of Albania have isolated the hearth in the Qafa e Kumbullës area, Kosovo’s Armed Forces have worked on the side of Lakut i Mollës, which continues to be active with high intensity that is on the border with Puka. Laku i Qershive side also remains problematic. The terrain makes it difficult for the Forces to keep everything under control.

6) Korça Region, Pogradec Municipality, Velca Administrative Unit, in Guri i Nikës (protected area) due to strong wind, the previous fire was reactivated. The situation is difficult to cope with as the distance is too great. The situation is monitored during the night. There is no risk for inhabitants.

7) Durrës Region. Active hearth in Fushë - Krujë in a warehouse that burns used tires. The fire has been brought under control and is on the verge of being extinguished.

8) Berat region, Skrapar municipality reactivation of the hearth in Tomorri Mountain, the rocky area above the Kulmak Teqe, Ujanik village, is being monitored, to eliminate re-ignitions from the wind and burning trunks.

9) Berat region, Skrapar municipality, in Therepel village, Vendreshe administrative unit. The situation got out of control, endangering an inhabited area about 250-300 meters away. The forces immediately secured the residents and then made it possible to bring the situation under control. It is being monitored.

10) Tirana region, Vora municipality, in the village of Kuç, a fire broke out. According to the informers, the fire was reported of entering the forest. The forces on the ground made it possible to bring it under control. The situation is being monitored. There is no risk for the inhabitants.

11) Kukës region, Valbona valley, Tropoja, in the place called Dragobi, several fires have been reported at the same time. The forces are working but due to the terrain, it is very difficult. Intentional arson is suspected. It is being monitored.
