Minister Peleshi meets with the Deputy Chief of the US National Guard Bureau: Albania, the lever to maintain the orientation of the region towards the West

During his visit to the United States, Defence Minister Niko Peleshi met with Deputy Chief of the US National Guard Bureau, three-star General, Marc H. Sasseville. Mr. Peleshi expressed to General Marc H. Sasseville the willingness to further intensify cooperation. After this meeting, the Defence Minister said:

"We had an enthusiastic meeting with the Deputy Chief of the US National Guard Bureau, three-star General, Marc H. Sasseville. The current cooperation in the field of modernization, education, and training of the military, participation in joint missions, etc., will be further intensified. The ambitious remodeling project of the Academy of the Armed Forces is already an important object in the agenda of US-Albania bilateral cooperation".
Minister Peleshi stressed that based on the special strategic partnership with the US, Albania will remain the lever to maintain our region oriented towards the West.
