Armed Forces effective participate in the "Tirana Marathon – 2021”

A team out of more than 100 effective from Albanian Armed Forces were part of the "Tirana Marathon - 2021", activity organized by the Municipality of Tirana.

The participants in this marathon competed in all disciplines (10 km, 21 km and 42 km), distinguishing themselves for the spirit of the race and high discipline.

Some of them were ranked in the winning places, respectively; Ilir Këllezi, from the AAF Sports Center, won the first place in the 42 km race (for men), Corporal Luiza Gega won second place in the same race (for women). While in the 10 km race, the second place was won by Major Bledar Mesi, effective of the Academy of the Armed Forces.

About 2500 competitors participated in the "Tirana Marathon - 2021", 1000 of them came from other countries of the world. Marathon participants competed in 4 different categories, for which there were three winners.
