Albania organizes the Senior Course on Security and Defense Studies, military personnel and officials from Kosovo and NATO countries are part of it

The Armed Forces Academy (AFA) is organizing the Senior Course on Security and Defense Studies (SCSDS) 2021, with participants from other countries.
The purpose of SCSDS is to train military officers (OF5) and civilian officials from Albania, NATO, and partner countries at the strategic level.
The course is attended by students from Albania, Germany, Greece, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Italy, and Georgia.
At this accession, AAF invited as lecturer one of the faculty members of the Baltic Defense College for teaching. Dr. Sandis Šraders and COL (ret.) Dr. Cclirim Toci who gave lectures at SCSDS on several issues that challenge the security environment such as Russia, NATO's role, national interests and the dynamics of national power, the development of the war in Europe, and NATO as well as the military challenges that may arise from NATO.
This project was the first step in increasing the good cooperation agreed upon during the visit of the Albanian Defence Minister Niko Peleshi in June 2021 at the Baltic Defense College.
