Recruitment campaign in Korça, Peleshi: High interest, FA offers career opportunities for the youth

The recruitment campaign was in Korça. After Elbasan, Defence Minister Niko Peleshi attended this process in Korça as well, where he invited the youth to consider this as one of the best opportunities for their career

“We want to invite the youth, not only with patriotic calls to became part of the Armed Forces, but we also take on our responsibilities to give as much dignity to this position. To be military, to be serviceman of the Armed Forces is an honor, a great pride because it represents all the strength of the nation, it represents a country that is a member of NATO. So, every youngster who will become part of the Armed Forces tomorrow should keep in mind that he becomes a member of the Armed Forces that are part of NATO.", - said Minister Peleshi.

Peleshi said that the youth who tomorrow will become part of the Armed Forces, as a result of this recruitment process will be evaluated by a salary system that is among the highest in the region. Minister Peleshi said that the Albanian Government does this to show the Alliance that Albania deserves to be a member of NATO, but also to show the ambition to be comparable to other member countries of this alliance.

While repeating the invitation for young men and women, he stressed that the FA creates a great career: "I invite young men and women to consider it realistically, not because of my position, but because to start a career in the FA is an incredible opportunity compared to other careers, because first it starts with a salary over 50000 lek, regardless of the education you have. If you have higher education, big doors will open through courses in NATO countries. In Albania, in the Armed Forces Academy you can move forward in your career, you can reach the highest ranks, why not, but also if you have a more modest education, a high school graduate, you still have the opportunity to enter the ranking system.", - explained Minister Peleshi.

The recruitment campaign will last until January 20 and this time there is a specificity. To facilitate the access of young people, recruitment points have been set up in each city center, not limiting this process only to recruitment centers.
