Brigadier General Bilbil Bitri’s promotion ceremony

The promotion of ceremony Brigadier General Bitri took place in the Ministry of Defense in the presence of the Defence Minister Niko Peleshi, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Assoc. Prof. Bajram Begaj, the commanders of the forces and support forces, colleagues and family members of Brigadier General Bitri.

In his speech, Minister Peleshi expressed his happiness that in the process of promoting the servicemen with high ranks, the Armed Forces and the ‘troops’ of generals promoted a few weeks prior, another one will be added as a brigadier general.
"It was a well-deserved promotion. Within the Alliance or in the regional framework we have an important role to play. For this we need knowledge, we need complete strength and responsibility. People like General Bitri come at the right time, in the right place and in the right position. I respect General Bitri's vital contribution to the Armed Forces and I encourage other servicemen, and those who are now being recruited, to see this as a successful journey and to be motivated." ,- said the Defence Minister.



Brigadier General Bitri, sharing his emotions with those present at the ceremony, said: “I am experiencing the emotions of a dream that I dared to believe. I dedicate the honor and privilege that is given to me today to a long list of people with whom I have been associated for 36 years in the Armed Forces. Thank you to those I have worked and work with. They have helped and taught me to value integrity, virtue, and morality. Thank you to those I have worked and work. They have been and are examples of inspiration and leadership. They have given me confidence, they have supported and appreciated me and for that I am also grateful to you.
