Specialist physicians of the Military Medical Unit performed medical checkups for the inhabitants of the remote villages of Maliq.
Military doctors were in the village of Strelcë of the Gore administrative unit in the municipality of Maliq this weekend, where they performed medical visits mainly for the elderly residents of this village.
Doctors in uniform stopped in Strelcë as there is no medical service and the village is located away from the city of Maliq and Korca.
Pathological and cardiological examinations were performed, as well as ECG tests with portable devices brought from the physicians of the Armed Forces.
Residents of Strelcë thanked the doctors for this service.
This is not the first time that military doctors have visited remote villages and will continue to be close to residents of these remote areas, wherever and whenever this service is required by local authorities.
