Peleshi inspects the "bailey" bridge in Voskopoja: 25 bridges have been built in two years and the cooperation with the local government will continue

In the presence of the residents of the area, Defence Minister Niko Peleshi inspected the completion of the construction of the "bailey" bridge over the river Dunavec in the Voskopoja village of Korça.

Accompanied by the director of the Civil Protection Agency Haki Çako and the mayor of Korça Sotiraq Filo, Minister Peleshi noted the fact that for a long time the Armed Forces, through the coordination of the Civil Defense Agency are in support of the communities throughout the whole country to make the civilians' lives easier, being on alert even in cases of natural disasters alongside the local government.

There are dozens of acres of farms on the other side of the river and residents had to travel miles to access their properties. With investments such as this bridge in Voskop or 25 others that we have built in the last two years throughout Albania, there are over 20 thousand inhabitants who have been facilitated access not only to their agricultural economy, but also the public services such as schools, health centers, etc ", - said Minister Peleshi.

The Defence Minister said that the cooperation with the local government will continue in the entire country to respond to all the requests, which, as he said, are numerous.

The Bailey Bridge over the Dunavec River is 24 meters long and will help dozens of locals.
