67 years since the creation of the Military Aviation Regiment in Kuçova, soon a NATO base

Today marks the 67 Anniversary of the Creation of the First Albanian Military Aviation Regiment, which in 1995 was named Kuçova Air Base, and soon will be one of the bases of the NATO Alliance.
Defence Minister Niko Peleshi commemorates the 67 Anniversary by expressing his gratitude and appreciation for the enthusiastic work of the pilots for the community through the testimony of the oldest pilot of the Air Base, Faslli Spahiu.

In the video published by Minister Peleshi, the pilot recounts the difficult moments, when the helicopter stayed for about 26 minutes with a skate, while rescuing a climber on Mount Tomori.
Although he has been in this profession for years, Faslli Spahiu continues to love it as if it was the first day, describing every day as "a dream".
