Steering Committee Meeting of the NATO Security Force Assistance Centre of Excellence convenes in Albania

After the welcome by Brig. Gen. B. Bitri, Director General of the Albanian Armed Forces, who highly appreciated the role and responsibilities of this center, Col. Di Pietro, Director of the NATO SFA COE, illustrated the projects currently being finalized in 2022 and the guidelines for the development of the Program of Work 2023.

Meanwhile, in his speech, the Albanian representative in the Steering Committee congratulated the staff of the center for their work, which has made this relatively new center have an impressive energy and enthusiasm, making it possible to confirm it, not only within NATO, but also in other settings, including academia.

Military attachés of Italy, Turkey, Poland, Greece, the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic attended the meeting in the role of observers.
