Defense Minister met the representatives of the "Lockheed Martin" and "Airbus Helicopters" companies

Defense Minister Niko Peleshi met during the official visit to Great Britain the vice president of the American Company "Lockheed Martin" for Europe, Mr. Jonathan Hoyle.

The parties discussed the current and future projects that the AAF has with the prestigious defense technology firm "Lockheed Martin", in particular for the operationalization of the Integrated Airspace Surveillance System of the Republic of Albania, as well as the maintenance of the Integrated Maritime Space Observation of the country.

During the conversations, Minister Peleshi said that both parties should explore all the advantages, disadvantages, and benefits from this cooperation, expressing confidence in the performance and footprints of "Lockheed Martin" until the full implementation of the projects that this firm undertakes.
A special meeting was held by the Defense Minister Niko Peleshi and the accompanying delegation with the Vice President of "Airbus Helicopters" Company for Southeast Europe and Israel, Mr. Cesar Sanchez Lopes.
The discussion focused on the current issues and finding new mechanisms and spaces for improving the AAF’s helicopters maintenance process.
