Minister Peleshi receives the Chief of General Staff of the Rumanian Armed Forces

Defense Minister Niko Peleshi met the Chief of the General Staff of Romania, General Daniel Petrescu, accompanied by the Ambassador of Romania to our country, Mr. Octavian Șerban and the Military Attaché, Colonel Valerică Piroscă.

During the meeting, was recognized the cooperation between the two countries in the field of Defense. The discussion was particularly focused on the developments and commitments of both countries in the current security environment, the joint efforts in support of the Alliance for Ukraine.

Defense Minister Niko Peleshi and the Romanian delegation discussed about the identification of new areas for joint cooperation in the field of Defense and Security, as well as the unstoppable efforts of the countries to limit malicious influences in the respective regions.

Chief of the General Staff of Romania, General Daniel Petrescu, who is on an official visit to Albania, also had a meeting with the Chief of the General Staff of the Republic of Albania, Brigadier General Arben Kingji.
