Fire situation in the Albania

Armed Forces and a Cougar helicopter are working to extinguishing fires in Peshtan, Qafë Shkozë, and Kreshpan village in Cakran Administrative Unit, Fier municipality, under the coordination of the National Civil Defense Agency.

Effectives of Armed Forces and the firefighting forces of Vlorë Municipality worked together to extinguish the fire at urban waste landfill. Currently, there are no visible flames, but there is still smoke because of internal burning, but is not causing problems for the inhabitants.
Meanwhile, firefighting operations are ongoing in other areas of the country: in Çeprat, in the Administrative Unit of Shushicë, where the strong wind has caused flames spreading. Meanwhile there are 20 wffwctives of AF and 4 vehicles working to isolate the fire in the village of Kus.
There is also a problematic situation in the village of Buz, Memaliaj where the wind creates difficulties to stop the fire from spreading.
There were 13 effectives and a vehicle, engaged to extinguish the reactivated fire in the village of Skrevan, in the municipality of Dimal.
