The situation of fires in Albania

 

The Armed Forces, under the coordination of the Civil Protection Agency, have made it possible to finally put out the active fires in the village of Delbnisht, in Milot Administrative Unit, Kurbin Municipality. In Laç, near the Church of Saint Anthony, where the situation was very critical since yesterday, the fires have finally been extinguished.

Currently, the situation is calm and is being monitored by fire fighters and forest service personnel. It was also possible to put out a fire near the Milot-Lezhë highway. In the village of Treblovë, in the municipality of Selenica, Vlorë district, the fire has been completely extinguished.

Thanks to the intervention by helicopter, it became possible to save 4 houses. Intensive work is being done to keep fires under control in the village of Jarua, Fier municipality, where the danger to the dwellings has been avoided.

In the village of Sinanaj, in the municipality of Tepelena, military forces are working to isolate the hearth of the fire. The work also continues in the village of Grazhdan, in the municipality of Finiq, for the normalization of the hearth after the reactivation.
