Albania and Turkey sign Defence Cooperation Protocol

At the conclusion of his visit to Turkey, Minister Vengu and his Turkish counterpart, Minister Güler, signed an amendment to the “Financial Assistance Protocol,” which will enable the Albanian Armed Forces to be equipped with 105 mm artillery systems.

The updated protocol enhances the existing cooperation framework and broadens the scope of support beyond material assistance to include training, seminars, logistics, transport, and institutional support.

This new agreement will directly contribute to improving infrastructure, increasing operational capacities, and strengthening the professional education of personnel within the Albanian Armed Forces.
