Albanian Ministry of Defence orders emergency evacuation of three villages in Delvinë due to wildfires

The Ministry of Defence, via Civil Protection structures, has issued an urgent order to evacuate residents from the villages of Palavli, Vergo, and Kopaçëz in Delvinë Municipality, following an increased wildfire threat in the area.

Authorities urge all residents to strictly follow civil emergency instructions and fully cooperate with police and local officials, who are actively working to safeguard lives and property.

Two Air Force helicopters have been deployed to support operations in Delvinë, while two additional helicopters are assisting with aerial firefighting efforts in the Berat-Dimal region.
