The engagement of the FA to put out the fire on Shpirag Mountain continues

Defence Minister Niko Peleshi, announced through a post on social networks that:

"50 troops of the Armed Forces, 5 vehicles and a Cougar helicopter continue their engagement since last night, in extinguishing the flames on Mount Shpirag, Berat, where the fire got bigger. Work from the ground and air continues to control the spread of the flames, which were favored by wind and high temperatures. The situation is difficult due to the terrain, but the operation of the Armed Forces will continue with intensity to completely extinguish any fire hearth. We will do our best to preserve our national wealth!”
