Bayraktar drones first images, Peleshi: Enhancing our capabilities in surveillance and security

The first mission of the Bayraktar drones has been launched, with Defence Minister Niko Peleshi sharing their initial images.

“Proud to share today the first images from the Bayraktar drones. These drones, cutting-edge technology in military mission flights, are significantly enhancing our surveillance and security capabilities. A major step forward in national defense.” - expressed Minister Peleshi.



For several months now, the Albanian Armed Forces have possessed three Bayraktar drones, purchased from Turkey under an agreement between the two countries. Known for their efficiency and advanced technology, these drones will be instrumental in monitoring the territory, with their images accessible to state institutions. This marks another important step in the modernization of Albania's Armed Forces, fulfilling our commitments to the Alliance.
