Fire situation in Albania

In the past 24 hours, 20 fires have been extinguished thanks to the continuous efforts of operational forces across various areas of the country.
According to the National Operational Center for Civil Emergencies, two fires remain active.
The situation in the village of Zogaj, in Tropojë municipality, is particularly problematic. The difficult terrain has hindered efforts, causing a fire that initially broke out in an area with bushes and shrubs to reactivate. Operations continue with the forces and resources of Tropoja and Has municipalities.
In Malecaj village, Lezhë municipality, efforts to extinguish the fire are ongoing. Today, 50 military personnel from the Armed Forces have joined the operation, successfully preventing danger to the village's houses.
