The operational enhancement of the Albanian Armed Forces, including the modernization of vehicles, equipment, weapons, and systems, was the central focus of Defense Minister Pirro Vengu's meetings this week with the U.S. military attaché and the ambassadors of the United Kingdom, Italy, Turkey, and Ukraine.
In these discussions, Minister Vengu reaffirmed Albania's commitment to supporting NATO in addressing threats along the Alliance's eastern and southern borders. He also highlighted Albania's steadfast and effective solidarity with Ukraine in the face of the ongoing aggression.
This continued collaboration and dedication are aimed not only at bolstering Albania's national defense capabilities but also at strengthening collective security within NATO and beyond.
