Fires in Selenica Municipality under control, Minister Vengu says no danger to residents

Operational structures for Civil Emergencies, both at the local and central levels and coordinated by the National Civil Protection Agency, have managed to bring the fires in Selenica Municipality under control.

Defense Minister Vengu confirmed that the threat to homes and residents has been eliminated, but the situation will continue to be monitored closely for any potential issues.

Two firefighting teams from the Armed Forces have also been deployed to assist local crews, providing significant support in handling the emergency.
