The joint exercise "Dimali-24" between the Albanian Armed Forces (AAF) and the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) concludes

A total of 395 troops from the Southern Infantry Regiment, along with 58 vehicles and a platoon from the Kosovo Security Force, participated in the "Dimali - 24" exercise, held from September 23-26.

The exercise, conducted in the Arshi Lengo area of Gjirokastër, focused on testing the operational capabilities of the Albanian Armed Forces in deploying and executing defensive combat operations, as well as their interoperability with other forces.

Exercises like this one also help ensure that Albania can meet domestic needs while continuing to make meaningful, if modest, military contributions to NATO, EU, and UN-led missions and operations.

The closing ceremony was attended by the Chief of the General Staff, Major General Arben Kingji, the Commander of the Land Force, Major General Ilir Xhebexhija, a delegation from the Kosovo Security Force led by the Chief of Land Force Staff, Colonel Valdet Berisha, the Director of the General Staff, Brigadier General Aleksandër Pando, and other representatives from the General Staff and commanders of subordinate Land Force units.
