The situation in Vlora has greatly improved after the heavy rainfall caused disruptions. All roads are now open for vehicles and pedestrians.
Efforts are ongoing to clear debris from some roads and pump water out of underground garages in residential buildings.
To support the municipality, 31 Armed Forces personnel, along with 10 vehicles and 8 water pumps, have been deployed.
Following the Civil Defense Commission meeting at the Prefecture, local authorities are working quickly to assess the extent of flooding in homes, businesses, public buildings, schools, cultural sites, health centers, roads, and other infrastructure.
In cooperation with State Reserves, 4.5 tons of food, 1.5 tons of water, and 200 liters of cleaning supplies have been distributed to residents affected by the floods.
Operational teams will continue working until the situation is fully back to normal.
