Financial compensation increase, breakdown of benefits for Air Force personnel

Air Force personnel are among the groups set to receive additional financial benefits under the latest government decision.
This decision significantly increases compensation for pilots, flight equipment maintenance crews, engineers, technicians, air traffic controllers, and active military personnel in the UAV Detachment (drones), reinforcing the commitment to prioritizing human capital.
Hundreds of flight personnel and other military staff directly linked to flying operations will receive salary bonuses, varying based on their roles:
- Pilots will receive an additional 80,000 to 100,000 ALL per month;
- Onboard technicians will receive an extra 45,000 ALL;
- Aviation engineers and air traffic controllers will be compensated with an additional 40,000 ALL per month;
- UAV Detachment pilots will also receive a monthly bonus of 45,000 ALL.
The same amount will be given to load operators and spotters.
The government has stated that this category is receiving enhanced financial support in recognition of their missions and duties, and also to retain the skilled employees who have been educated and trained in prestigious international institutions within the Armed Forces.
Investing in capability building remains a key priority for the Ministry of Defense.
