The Support Command will soon have new facilities for its operations and preparations. The Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu, accompanied by the Deputy Commander of the Support Command, Colonel Shkëlqim Çela, inspected the ongoing work, which is nearing completion.
During the inspection, Minister Vengu emphasized the commitment to continuing investments and improving conditions for the personnel and structures of the Armed Forces: "In the future, we can consider expanding capacities to cover a wider area of Tirana and other areas in the Dibra region. Infrastructure will continue to improve, and the command will operate in optimal conditions. We are also working to integrate this investment with Zall-Herr, including communication routes and the distribution of operational components." - stated Minister Vengu.
According to the development plan for investments in the Ferraj garrison, the construction of functional facilities for personnel offices, subordinate structures, and operational companies of the Support and Civil Emergencies Base is planned. Two buildings have already been completed—one for the Command and the Support Command Headquarters and another for the first operational company. A third building for the second operational company is nearing completion, while another facility is under evaluation for the Support Command Headquarters.
