The Albanian Government is committed to strengthening the assets of the Armed Forces in support of NATO, elevating the Kuçova Air Base to a new operational and strategic level.

Investments in infrastructure, modernization, and training are transforming this base into a key hub for regional defense and security:

In just a few weeks, the construction of infrastructure for drone maintenance will be completed, adding a new capability that significantly enhances the base’s efficiency.

a) The reconstruction of training facilities has already been finalized, ensuring optimal conditions for staff engaged 24/7 in operations and maintenance.
b) The armament and supply base has been upgraded to modern standards, providing top-level logistical support for the air fleet.
c) This strategic investment by the Albanian Government is just the beginning. Further modernization of the Air Force remains a priority for the future of national security and our commitments to NATO.
